ADIR power uv-c
ADIR POWER is an autonomous robotic platform for UV-C treatment of hanging and freestanding racks in the greenhouse. Thanks to its modular design the system can be customized to suit the specific conditions of your operation. Treatment takes place fully automatically overnight, without the need for staff to be present in the greenhouse.
Targeted UV-C treatment can reduce infestations of fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and gray mold, as well as pests such as spider mites.
What is UV-C?
UV-C is ultraviolet electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength range of 100 to 280 nanometers (nm) that is used to inactivate certain microorganisms. It damages their genetic material, thereby inhibiting their reproduction.
In automated crop protection, targeted UV-C treatment enables the chemical-free reduction of certain pathogens and can reduce the use of chemical pesticides.
